Rivertrace SMART ODME
The Smart Oil Discharge Monitoring Equipment (Smart ODME) is specifically designed to monitor, record, and control ballast discharge on crude oil, product, and chemical tankers, including ICE class vessels. Its modular construction eliminates the need for traditional pump/motor bulkhead penetration, making it more efficient and easier to install than older systems.
This advanced system fully complies with MEPC 108(49) and the latest MEPC 240(65) regulations for Bio Fuels, effective from 1 January 2016. It features a ‘simulation mode’ for easy system demonstration to PSC surveyors and is engineered for simple retrofitting, operation, installation, and maintenance.
The system adheres to strict discharge limits, allowing up to 30 litres of oil per nautical mile or 1/30,000 of the previous cargo for slop and wash water discharges.
