Core Working Principle
The Honeywell HERMetic UTImeter Rtex operates by connecting the instrument to a HERMetic vapour control valve fixed on the tank. The sensing probe is lowered through the restricted gauging connection, allowing operators to perform tank measurements under controlled conditions.
The ultrasonic sensing system detects the liquid surface to determine ullage, while the integrated RTD temperature sensor provides accurate product temperature verification.
